I don’t think this is even really an invitation from Zelensky, Trump just made an insane promise that he could fix everything in 24 hours if elected, a false promise he has made about many things which he never solved even in his 4 years in office.

So if you’re on the receiving end of such a wild and obvious lie, from a guy with a close to 50/50 shot to be the guy you’re begging for money in a year and a half, you can’t just call him out. So you say “well I would like to provide him with additional information.”
