In light of the trailer for Robert Zemeckis’s “Here”, Starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright, I’ve seen quite a lot of comments disparaging the use of the CGI-deaging. I saw a lot of similair comments about the last Indiana Jones, with many saying they should’ve hired a new actor to play the younger version of Indiana Jones. In your opinion, when is CGI de-aging appropriate to use? If you were a director, are there any instances where you feel like CGI de-aging would enhance a movie? Can you think of any examples where it did elevate a film?
