One of mine was the end of Maleficent, (kind of cheesy, I’m aware) which my fiancée and I watched with my 8yr old daughter. My fiancée loves my daughter, but her mother was spiteful that they were close, so it was tough for both of them. The movie just hit me harder than I thought it would, because it reinforced how a mother/daughter bond can be so powerful, whether they are biologically related or not.
