I worked in a pizza joint which started advertising on UberEats. According to my boss, UberEats take a huge cut of the sale, up to 40%.

No problems, we just increased the price on the app to compensate for that 40%. Along with handing out a menu on each UberEat order with our real, in-house delivery prices.

We got a lot of new regular customers, originally from UberEats, ordering directly from us. I’d get a lot more tips now.

I know that my boss benefited much more than me, but truth is lamer than fiction and I’m not larping here.
