Mine is Jake Gyllenhall’'s portrayal of Louis Bloom in Nightcrawler. I viscerally disliked the character so much that I had to pause it a few times. I think it was brilliant work from him to make the character unsettling to an almost evolutionary, uncanny degree, because he almost activated my fight or flight.
