Don’t get me wrong, some of these are genuinely well-made. I was actually blown away by how smoothly Cobblemon ran when I tried it out, but at the end of the day, what I love about MC is its own unique critters and “lore”, and stuff that builds on that, even if in radical new directions. Having, like, Harry Potter or Spider-Man or Star Wars or w/e “in Minecraft” just has zero appeal to me, and I actively avoid mods like that when making modpacks.
