I’ve worked for my company loyally for 30 years and have a nice nest egg.

The last year has turned into a real shit show since a new executive took over my division. a nepotism case with no degree, no qualifications, running the division into the ground.

I only got a 3% raise this year despite recent inflation being as high as 9.5 I’m told not to expect more for the next two years. They have cut back on staff and a lot of the older employees have retired rather than dealing with the situation. So know I’m working more hours than ever just as I was planning on slowing down and taking extended vacations (which are being denied)

I’ve lost all motivation and plan on skating the next four years doing the minimum amount possible.

Anybody else doing or done the same thing?

Edit: it seems like most of those that checked like me are working for employers like mine. Expect 150% give employee the bare minimum.

You figure most professional organizations would know that if you give your employees the bare minimum, they will give you the bare minimum in return.
