I got snapped at for using headphones at work. The reason is cuz they want me to hear the conversations around me and learn that way. I’m partially deaf and wear hearing aids that’s not gonna work for me! Hearing half of a telephone conversation where the person isn’t facing me will not be remembered in my brain. I’ll hear mumbles and gibberish
