I’m a long time private tracker user, occasional Usenet user. I definitely streamed terrible 12 pixel videos on terrible websites as a child. Telegram, though, I have no understanding of. I’ve never used this app and have no idea what kind of piracy community is alive on the app, let alone whether people are releasing directly on Telegram (rather than top sites and straight to private trackers) or if it’s largely a place that people upload rips to after having snatched them from elsewhere.

What’s Telegram like? Is there any reason someone would want to start using Telegram if other options were available? If you prefer Telegram, why?
