Hey y’all.

I recently tested drive a 2024 WRX at my local Subaru dealer, and it was a blast! I’ve wanted a WRX since I was a kid, and I finally have the financial stability to consider buying one, and I wanted some opinions on the newest model, as well as anything I should look out for, or recommended “must have” mods.

I currently drive a 2019 Ford Ranger STX Supercrew. I like it - it’s a perfectly fine truck. It’s just not that exciting, and I find I don’t do “truck stuff” as much as I thought I would, so I think it’s time for a change. I looked for a used WRX for a while, but every one I looked at was thoroughly thrashed, and up here in the rust belt even cars as new as 2020 had rusting hoods and trunk lids, so I’m thinking new.

So, what’s the low-down on the newest WRX? Do you who own them enjoy them? Think it’s a good buy?
