I know that, a few times, the RLM guys have mentioned an episode of Best of the Worst that they never released because the discussion was miserable and they weren’t able to get any entertainment out of the movies. It was mentioned in the Bunny Ears podcast with Macaulay Culkin (sorry, I don’t have the exact timestamp) released on May 29th, 2019, but I think it may have been mentioned in other places as well (possibly in Previously Recorded?)

I ask because I had some theories as to which movies were part of the failed screening. If we narrowed down when it occurred, that might help to confirm or refute those theories.

For example, I was wondering whether Deathstalker 3 was part of the “failed screening”, because if it was, that would explain why they’ve taken it off the Plinketto board. However, Deathstalker 3 was in Plinketto #7 (December 12th, 2018) and they discussed the lost episode on the Bunny Ears podcast in May 2019. It seems unlikely, but not impossible, that the lost episode was filmed in that five-month period in between. But if there’s evidence of them talking about the lost episode before December 2018, then that would disprove my theory.

EDIT: Thanks for the help. Apparently it’s been mentioned as early as 2014, very early on in BotW history, so my Deathstalker 3 theory is almost definitely wrong. But my other theory – that Ice Cream Man was one of the movies, and that’s why they turned it into something of a joke that they’ll never actually watch it – might still be in play. The April Fools video about Ice Cream Man was released in 2014, so it seems plausible that they might have seen it before that.
