Any time I bring up the fact that $60 - $70 games is too much, I get the answer that “It’s always been this way,” but is that a good thing? In my opinion, no. I am Canadian, and paying for $100 games is not a reasonable, it gets even worse when AAA games like Elden Ring ($106.49 with DLC) Ends up being $122.43 with Quebec’s tax. Don’t you guys think this is crazy? Another example, Black Myth: Wukong: $114.96. These prices are insane! To put it into context, a $100 game is nearly a week’s wage at my point, and I don’t get to keep much money to myself afterwards. And people have the balls to say piracy is stealing or immoral, I literally cannot afford to buy games because companies decided that paying ludicrous prices should be normalized.
