I mean… let’s be honest. Some of us truly enjoy our jobs cuz they pay bills, keep us busy and sometimes even help us meet some very interesting people even if they come with some evident drawbacks at times.

There is currently a situation where I started enjoying my job more and more, finally started to cope with some toxicities and things completely out of my control and everything started looking really great until they hired a new head of our department a few months ago…

Jeez… the person is a fanatic who believes that we all live for the sake of making money for companies we work for and is one of those who would skip lunch breaks to work more and would encourage many others to do the same in a very passive aggressive way.

I see people being let go as this person wants to “clean the house” and hire new HIGH PERFORMING NO LIFERS WHO WILL DO ANYTHING FOR HIS ROYAL MAJESTY BIG BOSS cuz those old employees were bad as they did the required job well, but at the same time enjoyed the life-work balance the company used to provide them with you see,…
