I tried to set up nixOS by myself, after a week I gave up. What are some good general configs to use? All I really want is flakes and home manager.

I don’t have any specific use case, I just want to use nixOS on a few thinkpads and not worry about it. Having an easy to set up development environment (for python, c++, etc) would be optimal.

–edit: I think you guys misinterpreted my intention. I do plan to write my own config after getting comfortable with nixOS, but I’m just not hardcore enough to take it head on
