Let me preface by saying I am not Mormon, but I did suffer at the hands of them. When I was a child, a Mormon “educational consultant” tricked my parents into having me kidnapped and sent to facilities in Utah that were extremely abusive under the guise of “treatment.” I was molested, physically assaulted, neglected, and emotionally abused. Every single one of those facilities was run by Mormons and staffed by over 80% Mormons. They are also extremely profitable.

I’m just wondering why Mormons seem to dominate this industry? Is there something within the religion that condones abusing other people’s children for self-gain?
