Right now it seems that the only thing stopping the few games that don’t work on proton is a deliberate choice by the developer (ie destiny 2, gta). What do you think the response would be if Valve basically said “if you want to list on steam your game must be proton compatible”. do you think companies like Bungie would be strongarmed and comply, or go to another platform like EGS?
