Hey everyone,

I recently put together a PC for my girlfriend and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, especially given the budget. I had a few spare parts lying around and managed to grab some used components to make it all work.

Here’s the build:

  • CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 (had this one already)
  • RAM: 16GB 3600MHz CL18 – grabbed this for €40
  • Motherboard: ASUS Prime A320m-K – picked it up used for €40
  • GPU: AMD Radeon 5700XT – found this gem for €150
  • Storage: 1x 120GB SSD (already had laying around) + 1x 3TB HDD + 1x 500GB HDD (both also had lying around)
  • PSU: 750W EVGA (from an old build)
  • Case: Some random one I had sitting around (though the glass panel and front panel are missing)

Total cost: €230.

Now, I know it’s probably not the prettiest build for the money, but honestly, it’s more than enough for what she needs! Always feels great to save some cash by reusing parts and finding decent deals on used stuff.

Edit: Just realized I posted this from my wrong Reddit account…
