This is more of a piracy-adjacent question. I recently discovered Soulseek and have been using it for music ever since. I’m not gonna reveal my exact age but I’m a high-schooler. I grew up hearing about Napster once or twice but never imagined that I would discover my own equivalent one day. I’ve got it on my PC and it’s hard to believe that I’m now a part of something that’s been around since 2001, it’s like a time capsule, you know? We live in an age where the internet is often policed and used to track and advertise to us, which I don’t agree with. I never grew up in the early stages of the internet where anyone could basically do whatever because it was all new.

I’m very much of the free and open internet mentality. With that being said, what are some random services that you’ve found to be useful in doing what you want online? Anything similar to Soulseek in that regard (legacy software, still has a lot of users) or anything else?
