Michael Hobbes manages the uncanny feat of being both the most sanctimonious and the most incompetent science debunker, including on the subject of gender affirming care-- where he frequently derides Jesse Singal’s work, never of course engaging with the substance in any depth. Anyway Hobbes has a podcast on weight loss where episode after episode he and his co-host distort, cherry-pick and misunderstand complex scientific topics. This substack takes it all apart line by line… it’s so bad it’s funny.
