For decades I would read sci-fi books and watch shows, like the animatrix second renaissance, and wonder and dream: what would it be like to be present at the dawn of AI? I imagined talking heads on the news arguing “The AI not really conscious! it’s not capable of TRUE reasoning!”.

And whether or not AI can reason right now, the fact that this world is finally here is so wonderful, I’m smiling thinking back at my young self and letting them know that I lived long enough to see the day that it started…
