I just saw The Substance & it was nothing short of a masterpiece. It was wildly fun, insane, and more than a nod to horror and cinema. I can’t recommend it more.

It feels wildly fresh & original while also paying direct (but perfect) homage to classic horror. It’s both grounded down in the trenches horror and elevated art at the same time. And it’s phenomenally acted, shot, and directed. And it’s a real cinema experience. So much fun in theaters.
