I sometimes feel… lost when I’m playing paradox games. My first game was HOI4, where national focuses give countries clearcut paths to follow, and the entire game takes place over a short time. I branched out into Vic2 and CK3, and I like the mechanics and gameplay much better than in HOI4. But I’ve often been feeling like once I expand a bit there’s just… not much for me to do anymore.
