Building on the tradition I started last year, I’ve launched the 2024 Self-Host User Survey to capture self-hosted habits, preferences, and behaviors across several different question categories.
I’m appreciative of the feedback I received from this community last year and have made some changes and improvements based on it. Notably, I’ve switched to the self-hosted form builder HeyForm, which easily allows me to capture values for ‘Other’ responses when I’m unable to list all possible values. (Disclaimer: The HeyForm team is also sponsoring this year’s survey, but this did not influence my decision to switch to their platform.)
I’m more than happy to take additional feedback for next year’s survey (feel free to post below).
Otherwise, the survey shouldn’t take longer than 5 minutes. The survey will be open for responses until 9pm EST on Friday, October 11th.
