I get that this comes across as picky, but holy shit, as a straight trans man I’m so sick of everyone conflating gay and trans. Isn’t that what we’re supposed to be advocating against? What ever happened to that?

Idk, it just really bothered me bc it’s always been really important to me to distinguish that I am not gay, I am heterosexual. Like, going both ways, I’m not just a masc lesbian, and I’m not a gay man just bc I’m trans.

Idk. It’s not the “Gay Dr”. If you wanna simplify it for comedic reasons, couldn’t he have just said the “trans Dr”?

Like I said, maybe this comes off like I’m being overly sensitive, but after years of people acting like all trans men are gay, or acting like trans is the same thing as gay, it really fucking gets to me. Especially as someone who’s constantly had to convince people that I only like women
