Hey guys,

I am a new player still enjoying my first week of SWTOR. I’m a little surprised this game never blew up to be roughly as popular as WoW but it’s no matter… I’m enjoying it now in 2024.

I wanted to start a character that uses a rifle and hopefully also uses cover/ or crouch like the gunslinger. Maybe there is no class for this?

Edit: Thanks for the help guys. It looks like sniper is the best class for me. As it turns out, it appears you can use a standard rifle blaster without a scope with excellent results and almost no dps decrease with the sniper class now:
