I see public sector leaders are getting big pay rises

An article in the dominion post today showed big increases for public sector bosses even thought their agencies are sacking people and have had big cuts because the govt considers them inefficient

Why is the govt rewarding chief executives such as heads of health nz or mpi or conservation etc when the chief executive’s have been the ones that were in charge when they employed so many staff and grew

I find their behaviour unethical . They are sacking low paid staff while the fat cats get big rewards for running agencies poorly These CEs are like leeches
