When I launch RimWorld, it tells me that there is a newer version. As seen here. Yet it doesn’t just update.

It is set to update automatically, but nothing. I submitted a report to the developer. No response after a day so far. I posted about it on the RimWorld subreddit. They said it’s only an issue on Epic. There’s a website you can check for latest versions of games on Epic. And Epic still has the previous version. So it will not update because it doesn’t exist on Epic.

How does this happen? Does Epic have some kind of delay? I would assume updates are managed by the developer to be live immediately.
