Every day when I play Balatro on the Steam Deck there’s a tiny update that I understand is the shader cache update.

But I thought Balatro’s graphics were so simple that they didn’t even have shaders (?) or need to keep them in cache for performance (?)

Can someone tell me why? If it’s just that all games have shader updates by default, no matter how simple. Or if Balatro actually has more complex shaders than what I think
