I’m doing a Lost rewatch.(spoilers ahead) Right away Locke realizes that the island is special. He knows its power and realizes its importance. However, he doesn’t live long enough to understand why.

It’s painful to watch his backstory. His father is easily the worst character in the show, and one of the most horrible people I’ve seen in television.

Locke deserved so much better. He deserved to be chosen by Jacob/the island. He did everything for him/it. Instead he’s used as some puppet. His death is a complete tragedy. It’s painful to watch what the writers did to my boy.
