A r/MildlyBadDrivers post reminded me of this fact. I was a speedster in my teens and have taken 2-3 of these classes. They really have paid off over time because of all the accidents I’ve avoided in the last ~20 years. Not only the benefit of my physical safety and of others, the damages saved to vehicles, but also lower premiums! It’s a win in a lot of ways

There are some state laws that require discounts be offered. I just thought, after posting, that insurance companies probably offer discounts regardless of what is mandated. Definitely look into it
