We got a puppy during COVID. To avoid him becoming an anxious dog, we played triggering noises over our speakers while he was in a safe, calm setting (sirens, fireworks, etc.). Last week he calmly watched fireworks with us that were happening virtually right outside the balcony. Very grateful that we did this since we live in a city where fireworks often go off in our neighbourhood at random times!
