So, the policy handbook at work says things like “Employees are encouraged to take advantage of available early voting and on-site voting, so as to not disrupt work.” and “In most cases, employees should have ample time to vote before or after work hours.”
Am I the only one who finds this strange? Work is the last thing on my mind when the fate of this country is at stake. On Election Day work hours will be centered around voting, not the other way around.
