I had read Fisherman Island back in 2011 and immediately hated it. I hated it for the same reason as others.But recently I rewatched it with my girlfriend (in One Pace). And Holy f*ck. We live in Ukraine and couldn’t relate more to this story. All the nightmares of war that people are experiencing, made them incredibly cruel not only to the enemy, but to each other. I know people who say that they will raise their children with hatred towards all Russians.Having re-watched this story now I can say that…Queen Otohime is one of the wisest people in One Piece. Fisher Tiger is a damn legend. He hated humans, but he didn’t want to pass that hatred on to the next generation. That’s really strong. And Hody Jones is the scariest villain because he’s real.
