When you pass on, assuming no immediate family, where do the urns go?

Or, if you do have a child, yes they could take them, but then what if that child ends up with those three, and then accumulates the urns of aunt-in-law Bonnie, Girrafasaurus, and Mickleback? Then they’re passing on six urns to their kids, and so on.
