Sorry if this has been asked before, searched the sub and couldn’t find. Since the first round of CFP are not officially Bowl games, they’re just regular games, how does that effect all the Bowl game stats we always throw around?

Will the losers still be considered in a bowl game drought?

If Indiana wins first round but then loses in the Quarterfinals does the no Bowl win since '91 still stick?
