My wife and 5 year old/9 year old boys have seen me go down hill into severe crashes the past year. They have gradually gotten worse and this time are lasting 3 months this far due to a COVID reinfection that brought my ebv levels up really high…prior to this past three months, I had a period of remission for 7 months where I was at about 90% functional and even ran a half marathon like an absolute dipshit. Now I am lying in bed, only to get up to do the bare necessities to relieve my wife of some easy meals, driving kids to school, and thankfully I can play board games for days as long as I am lying down. My kids are going to watch me deteriorate… I was the main income before this and have now permanently left my job. I am 29. How to cope?
