I’m just starting to further my smart home options and very intrigued with homeassistant. I have downloaded and installed it onto an RPi3 and upon the initial start up, I have noticed some of the main smart home components I have are not listed.
First, the ecobee3. I’m reading that I need an ecobee dev account to link homeassistant, but ecobee has paused this program with no sign of starting it back up. Second, Arlo. I’ve used Arlo for many years no with little fuss. Not too happy with a subscription service to use my devices now, but it seems the Arlo integration no longer works either. Lastly, I have a Liftmaster 828LM gateway for my garage door opener. It’s hard enough to keep this stupid thing active, but not seeing much in terms of options within HA. Just installed a Powerwall 3 recently, but haven’t looked too much into that since I’ve hit so many road blocks so far.
I’ve been highly disappointed when trying to use Google Home to start my smart home integration of components and was hoping homeassistant was going to swoop in and save the day. Any help in some direction to try integrating what I have without needing to replace everything. Thanks so much!
