My FIL thinks he’s well read on geopolitics because he reads Fox News headlines and instantly believes anything they say. The dude cannot stop talking about “china is going to invade Taiwan soon just watch”. He says stuff like this to me to make me think he’s smart or something but it just sounds ignorant.

Since when has China ever been an aggressor? I’d also think their economy wouldn’t benefit off of war like America does?
