Title. I hear people complaining about how MMOs don’t have the feeling of an alive world nowadays since you just look everything up in guides and communicate through Discord, and the way Caches work is imo a genius way to recapture some of that feeling of the game itself being your means of communication with the other players. Sure it isn’t super extensive, but for me that’s not what I’m looking for. Joining a sniff tag is both the optimal way to find info about cache locations, and done completely in-game, and through interacting with others. People who did their caches already are still compelled to stay in the squad while they do other events in the map, and they have a passive way of helping out the squad by tagging up if the commander leaves.
This entire system is designed to facilitate in-game cooperation between players and I love it.
