Christmas Lights Switch On

Head to Grey’s Monument on Tuesday 12th November at 6pm where the fun kicks off with Hits Radio breakfast show hosts Steve and Karen who’ll be getting the party started with songs, games and live music with help from panto stars from Theatre Royal’s The Little Mermaid and maybe even the Big Man in red himself!

Hang around 'til 7pm and see the streets illuminated by twinkling festive lights as Newcastle City Council perform the big switch on.

It’s set to be a truly magical moment so grab the kids, your other half, or your pals and gather to witness our wonderful city as it officially welcomes Christmas!

Santa’s Elf Academy

From Saturday 16th November, little ones can step into a magical world of elf training, where they’ll join Santa and his jolly helpers to learn everything needed to become honorary elves. With exciting activities like Northern Lights Laser Training, present-placing practice, and an Elf & Fitness class, this immersive experience is packed with fun for families.
