I just finished watching the final episode of season four of Richard Hammond’s workshop and I found it entertaining. There are many aspects that suggest the financial issues dealing with the firm are fictional and the fact that Hammond is such a horrible manager. At first I thought that he was just way over his head and Mindy was a great manager but the more I watched the more I realized that he was just terrible manager.
I realize that he talked about his passion of rebuilding classic cars but no point during the show do we actually see him actively working on the cars along with Neil and Andrew. I know he did a bit of the cleaning of the window for the Rolls-Royce but he never really did much compared to the others.
I understand that he may not have the skill but it should’ve taken him much shorter time to realize that the passion can be about seeing the car go through the rebuilding process and come to a finish product rather than having to do it on his own.
Maybe it’s just me but I should’ve been more open regarding getting work through his connections.
