I’ve been thinking about organizing all my notes on “how to run a points of light campaign.”

Just to be clear, when I say “points of light,” I’m talking about a world where civilization collapsed tens of centuries ago. What’s left of humanity lives in isolated, fortified villages or has returned to a more primitive way of life. Most of the world is empty, and covered in the ruins of better times.

The result of this would be a PDF documenting my personal impressions and experiences. I’d love to hear from anyone who has produced something similar! Are there any sourcebooks published about this type of campaign, written by someone in the OSR community? Any blog posts you think I should read before I get started on my own thing?
