After more than six months of actively participating in this subreddit and related ones, I’ve come to a clear conclusion: this community is at the forefront of UAP, UFO, and non-human intelligence (NHI) research and analysis. It far surpasses traditional institutions like NASA, AARO, and academic organizations, which often fail to engage with these topics meaningfully.

Why This Subreddit Leads

  1. Open-Source Research: Collaborative, transparent, and data-driven, this community analyzes publicly available information far better than traditional organizations.
  2. Critical Thinking: Claims aren’t blindly accepted; hoaxes are debunked, and credible cases are amplified.
  3. Speculation as a Tool: Unlike rigid institutions, this subreddit fosters open-minded discussions.
  4. Platform for Witnesses: Contributors can share experiences without fear of dismissal.
  5. Collaboration Over Ego: Genuine curiosity thrives here, unburdened by academic gatekeeping.

Why Traditional Institutions Fall Short

NASA, AARO, and academic organizations often dismiss civilian UAP evidence as hoaxes or hysteria without proper analysis, alienating witnesses and stifling discovery. These institutions act as gatekeepers, rejecting data that challenges their narratives.

While the new AARO team shows promise, their efforts fall short of this subreddit’s rigorous, transparent, and collaborative UAP research, which consistently outperforms flawed reports from NASA and earlier AARO teams. In fact, my overall experience with this subreddit has shown me that its efforts are far more credible than some of the highly flawed NASA or earlier AARO reports.

My Personal Frustrations with Academia and Research Institutions and Labs

As a college student studying electrical engineering and physics, I’ve faced dismissive attitudes from traditional scientists and institutions regarding UAP research. When I shared credible evidence, such as well-researched posts on phenomena like cattle mutilation, I was labeled “crazy,” dismissed Reddit as “full of stupid, crazy people”, and opportunities like internships were withdrawn, despite my proven skills (e.g., scoring 22/20 in quantum mechanics and receiving praise from a CIA official for a software idea).

A Salute to This Subreddit

This subreddit is what science should be:

  • Collaborative.
  • Transparent.
  • Open-minded.
  • Grounded in evidence.

Special thanks to Mr. Lue Elizondo for respecting public like us in here, unlike many academics who dismiss or ridicule our efforts.

Let’s keep proving that discovery and truth-seeking thrive when driven by curiosity, collaboration, and open minds.

P.S. Speculation isn’t a weakness—it’s a vital tool for exploration. Let’s keep questioning and uncovering the unknown together.
