Plenty of stuff for the house is automated, but I still require some way of turning certain lights on/off, alarm on/off, etc. The tablets I’m using (Amazon fire something or other generation) for dashboard displays are fine for displaying content but are a total drag to actually use. They take forever to load, forever to respond, forever to convince me that they are actually going to do anything after I tap the button. I need a display I can *actually* use to interact with my dashboards.

Any recommendations? Preferably 10" min, something that would fit comfortably on a countertop. Thanks.
