This show is just wonderful and for some reason just never seems to get the respect or accolades it deserves like Batman TAS. That seems to be a pattern with Superman, Batman’s movies or TV shows always seem to get more attention. If you’ve never been much of a Superman fan, this show is for you I think. It just nails everything about him.

Terrific design & animation. Great storytelling and character adaptations. Great cast, Plus it has a main title theme that rivals John Williams in my opinion for most memorable Superman theme. Tim Daly voices Clark/Superman perfectly. This is a more vulnerable Superman. He can be hurt. Struggles to lift especially heavy objects. Plus it leads nicely into the more serialized DCAU Justice League/Justice League Unlimited TV show. Plot points carry over.
