I’m not going to claim there’s been a central planning committee orchestrating all the happenings around UFO/UAP disclosure all along. The chaos and infighting has been pretty clear as there have been uncontrolled whistleblowers and leaks creating interest since the 2017 NYT article and everything since then that’s tipped off Congress and created public visibility and pressure. I think it’s possible the gatekeepers have been struggling to contain the full secret but the pressure has forced their hand and they’ve turned a corner and managed to organize the various stakeholders around disclosing the bare minimum - the fact of NHI presence but acknowledging very little beyond it.
Here are some of the things I see that suggest bare minimum disclosure is at hand:
- AARO with it’s rebranding is setting itself up to acknowledge and “discover” the anomalous nature of UAP and provide proof that we’re not alone. Yet they’ve not shown even a hint of seriously investigating legacy programs or revealing anything of that nature, no acknowledgement of whistleblower claims from recent House hearing, attempted debunking of the famous released videos (GOFAST), etc.
- Transparency champions have gone quiet. Senators associated with UAP (Gillibrand, Rubio, etc) have mostly backed off and are focused only on identifying current aerial threats and UAP, tackling nothing historical even the Nimitz / Tic Tac case. David Grusch has gone quiet. The supposed OpEd hasn’t materialized.
- The full UAPDA has been sidelined and the parts pertaining to reverse engineered technology and the independent committee to investigate and declassify was dropped. The centralization of documents at the Archives is going forward but still prone to not revealing records for “national security” reasons which can continue to cover up legacy programs while perhaps only revealing that the government has known or suspected for quite a while.
- Videos are being taken down or buried that speak to the historical government engagement, e.g. Jesse Michels interview with Grusch, conspicuous renaming of House hearing from 2023, etc.
- Some House congresspeople are still pushing for bigger disclosure because they’ve been left out of the loop which explains why they went ahead with the recent hearings. Notice who’s conspicuously not been involved? The House members who have the highest clearance to be briefed on the subject (gang of eight): Mike Turner, Jim Himes, Mike Johnson, and Hakeem Jeffries. It’s only the ones out of the loop who are speaking up.
In general my sense is we’re seeing less conflict among the government bodies and AARO has shifted to the new narrative. The ones in Congress with the most oversight and power have simmered down and there’s is a path forward to finally reveal the fact of NHI without dealing with the serious problems of historical crimes and legacy reverse engineered technology. They have the publicly acknowledged shootdowns from early 2023 to demonstrate we’ve recently confirmed existence of NHI technology and have begun reverse engineering it (our saviors!). So they can acknowledge the NHI presence but deny the pre-existing conspiracy and reverse engineering arms race. It will be pretty transparent to many of us that they’re hiding something – how could all of those historical clues and leaks have been wrong when we find out NHI really IS here and probably has been(?) – but it will take the biggest pressure point off and they can comfortably let everyone go on wondering how much the government already knew about it. The broader public will swallow the mainstream story with the media’s help even though there will be doubts. We’ve lived with collective doubts for a long time already, it’s nothing new.
If this is the direction of disclosure I would predict roadblocks or pushback going up against anything pointing to legacy programs – James Fox new documentary The Program, anything new from David Grusch, reverse engineering programs leakers – meanwhile steady progress on declassifying UAP data and finally public validation of their anomalous nature. They may go ahead and reveal they HAVE been aware and collecting data on the phenomenon for some time (so we feel safe) and they may create the narrative that this is what any legacy programs were actually about, but they’ll downplay advanced reverse engineered technology and certainly omit any illegal program and cover-up activities.
What do you think? .
EDIT: I think the redlines they will not dare disclose will include:
- Significant progress was made years ago with reverse engineering efforts, e.g. ARV. At most they could admit recent breakthroughs. They would never admit they’ve been sitting on this technology for a while and allowed the climate/energy disaster to pile up.
- Significant crimes were committed to cover up the secret. This is a morass nobody wants to address.
- Long standing communication or agreements with NHI.
- President and executive branch leadership have been routinely lied to or left in the dark.
