So most people agree Bang and Bomb are comparable. Murata even says Bomb is stronger. But do you think this is in comparison to base or full power awakening breath Bang?

We see Bomb and base Bang seem relative when they fight human Garou, Elder Centipede, and Rover. Bomb fights initial monster Garou and Bang fights monster Garou after he copied his awakening breath and Bomb was amazed Garou could fight full power Bang after Bomb himself was defeated. This all points towards Bomb being relative to base Bang and not awakening breath.

On the other hand Bomb was weakened before fighting monster Garou after giving his energy to Tank Top Master. Bang also confirmed he went all out on human Garou yet failed to take him out. Bomb failed to take him out too, but he never stated he went all out and Bomb knew Garou was Bang’s to defeat. Base Bang having so much trouble with human Garou is a pretty big anti feat, though you could argue even though he said he was going all out he was still holding back on killing blows. Then there is of course Murata’s statement that doesn’t specify Bomb is only stronger than base Bang, so that could be used to argue he is meant to be above Bang at full power.
