Or is Black Forest Labs perhaps working on a more fundamentally improved Flux 2.0 instead, which may explain why it takes longer?

Flux Dev 1.0 is a really good model, I can’t wait to see what improvements future versions may bring.

As commenters pointed out, Flux Pro 1.1 (hosted) exists, so the more correct question is, where is Flux Dev 1.1? Perhaps BFL skips Dev 1.1 and go straight to something like Dev 2.0?
