Dave Grohl turned 56 years old on Tuesday, and he apparently spent the day cooking meals for families displaced by the Los Angeles wildfires, as well as for inmate fire firefighters battling the blazes.

On their Instagram, Feed the Streets Los Angeles shared a brief video of Grohl stirring up a large batch of chili, as well as another clip of him pushing large containers down a sidewalk.

Grohl, who lives in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Encino, has been a longtime volunteer with Feed the Streets LA, previously partnering with the organization in March 2023 to provide meals for thousands of homeless people during a particularly harsh period of bad weather.
