Two days ago I said to my friend that I again wanted to play some PoE 1 after 400 hours into the league and we got pretty pumped up waiting for Thursday because on Friday he is working from home and we can put an all-nighter before that. We tried playing PoE 2 together but we just couldn’t bare the slowness of the game and huge labyrinth locations. We also played Last Epoch together just to try it out, played Torchlight: Infinite and I alone played D4 and maxed out 3 characters in the Season 6. But…None of the ARPGs we tried have the same unique feeling as the PoE 1 gives. Getting quicksilver flask, leapslam or shield charge, getting stronger and popping mobs in a single cast, man…This gives so much dopamine into my rotted brain. PoE 1 is the GOAT of all ARPGs. Hopefully, it’s not forgotten by GGG in the future when the second game finally releases.
